Superb country walk and fantastic for dogs
A large area with a number of well trodden paths leading around it, and wooded areas covering some of the area. A good hours walk around. Excellent 1/4 mile walk from the train station.
Open common, good for dog walking and open field playing with children. There are a few public pitch and putt golf holes which don't seem in terrible condition. There is a small but nice little children's park for small children.There is also a cafe, however it is only open Wednesday to Sunday.
Lovely walk through a tree lined avenue from the station end. Golf course and cafe, play area. Good dog walking too.
