Only went in for a pint, but both staff and beer were very pleasant!
Great selection of drinks and food
A real, honest, low-key, high quality pub, with good food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. No blaring TV or piped music, just the sound of good-natured conversation. Clean, welcoming, attractive interior, not over-designed or "themed". Dog-friendly, no bouncers, young staff who obviously want their customers to feel at home. (Everything, in short, that the King's Head is not....) This is what the English pub at its best used to be like. Now it is rare to find one. Visit it, value it, enjoy it.
Lovely staff, had a meal while we were there and it was great. Definitely will be back soon.
Only called in whilst waiting for the bus. Had a couple of drinks, cheapest we have had whilst down here. Nell behind the bar was lovely. She was so friendly and very efficient. Will recommend to anyone going into beccles.
