Food and service is always lovely and their gluten free options are unrivalled. Beautiful views of the river as well. *Update* revisited and the food was not good; my fish and chips was tasteless and smelled funny and my husband's meal was just strange! My meal was refunded but not sure we'll be going back.
Our meals were lovely, once they arrived, we do appreciate that the restaurant was very very busy. It was unfortunate that the waiting staff were not up to scratch, again it was very busy, but we had a 4 year old child with us who, we made it quite clear, had a dairy intolerance and we also requested that her lunch had no gravy on it twice. It had gravy on it so we waited until they bought one without. Then when we ordered desert we were asked if 'the kid would like ice-cream'! She was exceptionally well behaved and I had expected more from your establishment.

A lovely hotel, beautiful room. Spotless. Staff excellent in the Reception and Restaurant. The breakfast very good and nice and hot. We would definitely go there again. Good location and you can walk into town.
Would have been 2 except the food we got was good. What wasn't good was they gave us desert menus and never came back to take order. It was only 2130 and apparently they had stopped but never told anyone. Paid bill and went somewhere else for desert. Will just go somewhere else for the whole meal next time. Shame.
